Christopher Young Funeral Home announces the transition of Joshua McMillan.

Joshua Ryan McMillan was born April 30, 1981, to the union of Danny McMillan and Allison Norris in Eastpoint, Ga.

Josh received his formal education at Jenkins County High School in Millen, Ga.

Josh was a caring and hard-working person. He was South GA Regional Sales Manager at Ole Smokey Tenn.

Josh was a talented young man with a strong passion for music. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was great at both.  He was full of life and never met a stranger. He loved his family, friends, and most of all he loved his son Dayne. He was a lot of things to many people, and he will truly be missed by all.

On August 5, 2023, Josh transitioned from an extended illness. Josh was predeceased by his grandparents: Floyd and Sarah McMillan, Henry Norris.

Josh leaves to cherish his memories: his wife; Amanda McMillan of Pooler, GA, a son; Dayne McMillan of Pooler, GA; his father, Danny McMillan of Millen, GA; his mother, Allison (Keith) Wise of Millen, GA; his sisters, Alyssa (Al) Ingerson of Dawsonville, GA and Jody Jeselnik of Millen, GA; his brothers, Daniel McMillan of Millen, Kyle Wise of Braselton, GA, Nick Phillips of Locust Grove, GA, Alex Wise of Savanah, GA, and  Brett Wise of Locust Grove, GA; his nieces, Karleigh McMillan of Millen, GA, McKinleigh and Lily Ingerson of Dawsonville, GA, Riley Jeselnik of Millen, GA; his nephews, Leighton McMillan of Springfield and Brody Ingerson of Dawsonville, GA; his maternal grandmother,  Shirrie Norris; his brother-in-law, Alan Floyd Sevierville; his uncle, Christopher Norris of Apache Junction, his uncle and aunt, Tony and Diane McMillan; his cousins Rachel and Andrew of Slidell; and a host of friends.
