I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to any of you, to tell you that I loved you, to say what now must be one long, unbroken cry of pain now that I’ve gone away. I cannot tell you what a joy it was to be the one to love each of you. I wish I could have stayed with you a little longer, I wish, I wish, I wish . . . but it is done, and I had to surrender to the plan God has for me.

Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023, from 1 to 4 at Christopher Young Funeral Home. Wake will be from 4 to 6. Life Celebration will be 2:30 Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
